Sri Justice P. Chandra Reddi was born on 1st July, 1904. Educated
at V.R. High School, Nellore and Pachaiyappa’s College, Madras.
Enrolled as an Advocate of the High Court of Madras on 13th
August, 1928. Practised on the Civil and Criminal – Original
and Appellate sides. Appointed as Additional Judge, Madras
High Court on 16th July, 1949 and as Permanent Judge, Andhra
High Court on its formation, from 5th July, 1954.
Appointed as Acting Chief Justice of the High Court
of Andhra Pradesh on 31st January, 1958. Permanent Chief Justice
of that High Court from 16th June, 1958. Acting Governor
of Andhra Pradesh from 20.11.1963 to 19.12.1963.
Appointed Chief Justice, Madras High Court on 23.11.1964.
Acting Governor of Tamil Nadu from 24.11.1964 to 7.2.1965.
Retired on 1.7.1966.
